A Walk to Remember

The walk down the aisle will be the last steps you take as a single woman. I’ve always loved the tradition of rolling out a carpet for the bride as she takes her walk, but have been less than impressed by the carpets themselves until now. Event Bella Designs carries several different wedding items, but it was the aisle runners that caught my eye.

These aisle runners are hand painted just for you and to your specifications. You can go with a traditional looking monogram on a white runner as pictured above, or let you imagination run wild with different colors or a quote instead of a monogram.

I would love to see what our creative brides do with these after the wedding. Maybe add them to a quilt, or frame it with wedding pictures. If you were not planning on using an aisle runner, but love the look, they also offer table runners.

In the Arms of the Angels

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t think I would have anything to write about when it came to the ring bearer pillow and the flower girl basket. It’s a pillow and basket with ribbon. How hard could those be to find, right? WRONG!

If you are fine with all white accessories for your adorable attendants then you have plenty to choose from, but if you are one of our more daring brides who fancies a vibrant tangerine or a cool steel color, then you need to turn to Fox’n Lily.

This site has at least 14 different shades of pink alone. So if you are a pink girl but are finding everything too baby or plain pepto fear not. On the off chance that none of their 112 shades of fabric suit you, they will custom match to your swatch.

Fox’n Lily also carries a great line of attire for the flower girl, junior bridesmaid, and ring bearer. They are not your garden variety outfits. You can really see the European influence of the designer.

You may want to consider one of their more unique items. They offer a doll sized dress that is an exact replica of the flower girl dress. They are adorable and very hard to resist.

First Impressions

Your invitation is your first chance to make an impression on your guests. It is not just a date and time. It can present your color scheme, set the formality you want, and show off your own personal style. I love the look of the designs from Mackenzie Sala from Kenzie Kate.

Without going over the top, her designs are original and beautiful. There is plenty of room to customize the invitation. The colors can be changed to match the colors you have chosen, making them truly unique to your wedding.

The stationary is hand assembled and comes in a set that includes invitation, reply card, reply envelope, a custom enclosure card, and outer envelope.
You can also order save-the-date, thank you cards, menus, and place cards that match the invitations. I also love that the site has a price calculator to help take the mystery out of bulk discounts.
